As a child, the first wedding I remember attending was a truly magical affair, in South Africa, we call it 'a monkey's wedding'. Rain begins to fall while the sun is shining, often, if the sun is low enough in the sky it creates a rainbow. Many cultures all over the world have a name and attached folklore for this meteorological phenomenon, no matter the language, culture, race or ethnicity, this beautiful event is viewed with wonder. A Monkey's wedding, when sunshine finds a way to blend with the rain to create beauty, is a tale of love and triumph that transcends normal boundaries.
